ZEKE - see video Shepherd (Unknown Type) Adult Male in Marietta, Georgia

My story
Say hello to the adorable 2 year old fellow we are calling Zeke. Zeke came to the shelter as a lost boy on 08/06 and nobody came to fetch him home so Zeke is now hoping for a brand new home to start over with. He is a good boy and he sits when asked. He is still a bit shy when inside the very loud shelter but once he gets away from the noise he because a big teddy bear, a sweet lovable guy. He can stand to put on a few pounds because he only weighs about 39 pounds. Zeke is current on vaccines, will be neutered, and micro-chipped upon adoption. You will find Zeke waiting in run 848 and his ID# is 631162. Sadly he has tested positive for heartworms, but has started treatment with the shelter vet. He will need follow up with a private veterinarian and have his activity restricted. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend.
